Salon Management Diploma

Aim of the Course

The aim of the Diploma in Salon Management is to equip Candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to manage a Spa or Salon environment effectively.

 

Entry Level

No prerequisite courses required.

 

Units/Subjects to be Studied

• Management of health, safety and security in the Salon

• Salon management

• Sales management in the hair and beauty sector

• PR in the hair and beauty sector

• Marketing in the hair and beauty sector

 

Where a candidate has previously studied the CIBTAC Generic subjects they are exempt from repeating the hours of study. Please note the candidate should revise these areas as questions will appear in the examination.

 

Supportive Areas of Study

These are extensions to the Generic units and are specifically related to Spa Therapy. 

 

Minimum Training Requirement

215 hours

 

Examinations

The dates will be issued annually by the examining body.

 

Successful completion of this qual will rely on the presentation of a portfolio containing the completed assignments and log sheet listed, marked by the Centre Tutors and by the Examiner. 

 

Exam Fee

To be issued annually by the examining board.
